Virginia Peninsula Media, LLC, is the only local media outlet dedicated to promoting area performing arts, music, events, museums, festivals, food finds and retail in Hampton, Newport News and York County.
The target audience is anyone who enjoys Virginia Peninsula fun.
Virginia Peninsula Media consists of three components.
Virginia Peninsula Magazine is a free 10,000-circulation bi-monthly print publication distributed at local businesses, especially entertainment venues, in the lower Peninsula.
I designed these 2 floor banners for Alliance Solutions Group, Inc. to be used at the 36th Annual Virginia Hazmat Conference in Norfolk, VA, September 2019. Dimensions are 31.5" x 90".
I designed this table top banner stand for the Riverside College of Health Careers to be used at health fairs and presentations for the new student recruiter.
The above examples are posters created for the US Army's SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response & Prevention) Summit in August 2015. In these examples, actual members of the Armed Forces of a variety of ranks were chosen to carry a specific message for each poster. Additionally, the images and messages were themed carefully so that viewers could easily identify with them.
Magazine covers from the member's monthly magazine for WHRO Public Media, the PBS affiliate of Norfolk, Virginia. I redesigned the publication from a newspaper-style format into the more user-friendly, magazine-style format shown here.

"Cooking Freestyle with Jae Sinnest"  is a cookbook designed as a gift for contributors during WHRO Public Media's pledge drives. Shown is the cover page along with a sample page. The challenge of this project was to design recipe pages without having photos of the actual dish. Where photos of the actual dish were unavailable, I used images of the main ingredients instead, and supported with quotes from the author.
Full-page magazine advertisements for autoextra.com. These advertisements were designed to target regions of America with a high concentration of young male adults, and where affordable car sales were below national averages.
Set of motivational posters for autotrader.com. These posters were designed to illustrate company values and were used in offices nationwide.
Magazine advertisements for automart.com, designed to showcase automart.com's mission to help women with the car buying process.
